SRH in IPL playoffs after rain washes out GT tie

Sunrisers Hyderabad secured their spot in the Indian Premier League playoffs as rain prevented any play in their IPL match against Gujarat Titans. With this, SRH became the third team to qualify, following Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, who currently hold the top two positions in the standings. Although the match was washed out, Sunrisers earned one point, bringing their tally to 15 points with one game remaining. Their final league fixture will be against Punjab Kings, who have already been eliminated, scheduled for May 19.
